Big South Fork Adventures offers shuttle services for the unguided multi-day, back-country, canoe float trip, from Leatherwood Ford - Blue Heron. This 19-mile trip through the remote, untamed rugged Big South Fork NRRA, takes 7-10 solid paddling hours, navigating Class II - IV rapids. Often reveled by Boy Scout Troops and back country adventure seekers alike, this trip offers the paddler, an amazing wilderness adventure. This area is rugged with little access to medical facilities, cell phone reception and should be treated seriously. Highly recommend, pre trip planning, satellite communications, discussion with the BSF NRRA rangers and back country camping/float experience.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to scheduled trip date, 90% refund with a 10% processing fee. Cancellation between 30 and 14 days but prior to 24hrs, 50% refund. Cancellations after 24hrs, prior to the scheduled trip, or impaired customers and "No Shows" lose 100%. Big South Fork Adventures reserves the right to cancel any trips due to any unsafe conditions. The Big South Fork River is a very dynamic river, and no two trips are the same. In addition, the BSF river levels can fluctuate very rapidly making the river very dangerous and at the discretion of the guides for the customer's safety BSFA can cancel the trip due to unsafe river conditions and will offer the customer an alternative trip and/or 1 year credit. Customers will be offered 1 year credit and/or a rescheduled date if Big South Fork Adventures LLC calls the trip due to inclement weather.
