Whitewater Gorge Trip Class (IV)

Congratulations! This is Big South Forks Adventure's, premier whitewater trip!  This guided, unforgettable, advanced class II - IV, whitewater trip is 6hrs of whitewater, tackling head-on, the "Big Three", The Double Drop, the legendary Washing Machine and The Mighty Ell!  There are plenty of class II and III rapids too: such as Rocky Top, The Plume and The Kreckels.   After, running some of the greatest rapids in Tennessee and Kentucky, we will eat a box lunch after passing the "Hand of God" and running continues class (III) rapids through the Canyon, stopping at Leatherwood Ford takeout.

What to Bring:  Whitewater rafting is a very dynamic participation sport, anything you bring could be lost and irretrievable.  Big South Fork Adventures LLC, and Big South Fork NRRA is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items. 
Do not bring your car keys on this trip.....Bring bottle water and any prescribed medication.       *The Big South Fork is a very wild, dynamic river, and the level raises and lowers quickly, no two trips are the same, due to inclement weather and severe level fluctuations, Class IV extreme trips could be cancelled at the guides recommendation and for the customer's safety.

Put In Location:            Burnt Mill Bridge
Trip Meet Time:           Meet @ 9:00am @ Leatherwood Ford Recreation Area and then travel to Burnt Mill Bridge

What to Wear:              Never Wear Cotton, dress to be comfortable, wear layered synthetic clothing and shoes that do not fall off,  no sandals! The water will be almost 50F, recommend bringing a change of dry warm clothing.
