"Duckie" Rentals | Bear Creek to Blue Heron
The Bear Creek to Blue Heron "Duckie" Float, is an unguided/ self-guided, family fun trip for those that want a relaxing float or not so public fishing spot. Beware of the mighty Devil's Jump, Class III rapid at the end of your float trip. The mandatory portage is on river right. The customer pickup is at the Blue Heron lower parking and after a short shuttle to Bear Creek, gear overview, some guide instructions and you will be on your way to your next adventure! Be a pro and don't forget your sunscreen, snacks and water!
What to Bring: Whitewater rafting is a very dynamic participation sport, anything you bring could be lost and irretrievable. Big South Fork Adventures LLC, and Big South Fork NRRA is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items. Do not bring your car keys on this trip.....Bring bottle water and any prescribed medication. *The Big South Fork is a very wild, dynamic river, and the river level raises and lowers quickly, no two trips are the same, due to inclement weather and severe level fluctuations, unguided trips could be cancelled at the guides recommendation and for the customer's safety.
