Join us for an unforgettable journey through nature and history!
This family friendly river adventure will take you under the massive tram bridge that during the early days of the Stearns Coal and Lumber Company carried tram cars full of coal to the other bank of the river. Once you’re done floating your way through a couple unnamed class I rapids and under the canopy of trees, you’ll take it up a notch with a class II rapid named Joe Shoals. Once banking at the predesiginated takeout, police up your gear, put inside the watercraft and your day is done!
Additional Trip Information What to Bring: Whitewater rafting is a very dynamic participation sport, anything you bring could be lost and irretrievable. Big South Fork Adventures LLC, and Big South Fork NRRA is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items. Do not bring your car keys on this trip.....Bring bottle water and any prescribed medication. *The Big South Fork is a very wild, dynamic river, and the level raises and lowers quickly, no two trips are the same, due to inclement weather and severe level fluctuations, Class IV extreme trips could be cancelled at the guides recommendation and for the customer's safety.
