Multi-Day Canoe and Kayak Rentals
Big South Fork Adventures offer Big South Fork River back country shuttles and rentals. The main float is the 17 mile rugged untamed backcountry float from Station Camp Creek to Blue Heron take out. This is an excellent float for large groups or for those that want to spend time alone with nature. The second half of this float is from Blue Heron to Turkey Creek. The first section, Blue Heron to Yamacraw take out is moving water, the second half from Yamacraw to Turkey Creek is typicaly flat water paddling. Often reveled by Boy Scout Troops and back country adventure seekers alike, these float trips offer the paddler, an amazing wilderness adventure. This area is rugged wilderness with little access to medical facilities, cell phone reception and should be treated seriously. Highly recommend, pre trip planning, satellite communications, discussion with the BSF NRRA rangers and back country camping/float experience.
Additional Trip Information What to Bring: Whitewater rafting is a very dynamic participation sport, anything you bring could be lost and irretrievable. Big South Fork Adventures LLC, and Big South Fork NRRA is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items. Do not bring your car keys on this trip.....Bring bottle water and any prescribed medication. *The Big South Fork is a very wild, dynamic river, and the level raises and lowers quickly, no two trips are the same, due to inclement weather and severe level fluctuations, Class IV extreme trips could be cancelled at the guides recommendation and for the customer's safety.
